The Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) enters its third round this weekend at Sepang International Circuit with the national championship series sharing the track and limelight with the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup Asia series, which will run three races including a night race under the floodlights on Saturday.

Twelve-year old Mohamad Hasif Zainal Abidin overcome racing jitters and a wet Sepang International Kart Circuit to win the opening round SIC National Karting Series Rookies Cup 2019, which was held over the weekend as part of the SIC IAME Series Asia event.

Eight-year old Saif Khalifa Erwin will be the youngest among the final 10 karters selected to compete in the SIC X30 National Karting Series Rookies Cup 2019 on a full sponsorship package under SIC Talent Development programme.

In an effort to raise the level of competition and overall series promotion, Sepang International Circuit (SIC) and Two Wheels Motor Racing (TWMR) have ventured into a collaboration to organise the Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) beginning with the 2019 season.
